Forum Deletion, Contact Backlog

Good morning, folks,

Unfortunately, an issue was raised with the forum that resulted in my not being able to get into it to moderate - leaving several posts unposted. For now, I’ve removed the forum, although should I find a new or updated forum plugin, we might give it another go.

In cleaning up the scripts on the site, I also found I’d mis-configured the contact form the last time I updated it and that has mis-directed a lot of the contacts. Please accept my apologies (or send rotten tomatoes) and be patient as I try to sort out the issue. For now - please don’t use the form! Use the guestbook…

I think that covers it for today.

Update Complete

Good morning, friends!

The update to the website is as much as completed, although I need to move some items around yet, and work out a few kinks in the new features. Yes - new features.

Those of you who have registered with the website should have automatic access to the new forum. Feel free to pop over, read the Admin area posts and participate. If you haven’t registered previously, doing so either here or at the forum will give you access as a member - and you will need to be a member to post. Before the inevitable question is asked, yes DJ may stop by from time to time. If she can’t, I will do what I can to answer questions. Remember, DJ is busy working on a new book and won’t have much time…

And as you’ll see from the navigation list, we have a new contact form. I’m hoping this will cut down on some of the contact issues.
